Program and General Information

Where do I get my starting number and chip?
Only on Friday, 25th of June 2010 from 10:00 to 13:00 at the festivity hall
The starting numbers are to be used for all 3 races (the chips only for the 2 EHC races).
The registration fee is 66,00 Euros for all EHC races including vouchers for meals and beverages. The fee has to be prepaid until 11th of June 2010. There is no charge per race, one fee covers both races.
Please prepare 20,00 Euros chip deposit.

Meals and Beverages:
The starting set includes 3 vouchers for meals and 3 vouchers for beverages for each athlete.

Technical meeting
The TM will be held in the event hall on Friday, 25th June at 13:00

Check of Bike Equipment and Helmet
The check of bike equipment and helmet will begin about 2 hours before each EHC race near the start and finish area.

Warm Up:
The warm up is allowed on all streets of the village with the only exception on the State Road N°54.
Notice: During the warm up the streets are not closed for other traffic!!

Prize Giving Ceremony:
The prize giving ceremonies on Friday and Saturday will take place on early evening at the festivity hall. The time will be announced on the race days.
The prize giving ceremony of the hill climbing race will take place on the top of the Masenberg.

Individual Time Trial on Friday, 25th June

Circuit (see map):
The race starts and finishes on Marbachstraße. The 13km long course runs across the country from Grafendorf until close to Hartberg passing the villages Obersafen, Untersafen and Eggendorf. At 6,5 km there is the turning point. On the same way the course runs back to the finishline.

Start Time :
The race will be started at 15:30 with an interval of one minute between individual start times.

Road Race on Saturday, 26th June

Course (see map):
The race starts and finishes on Marbachstraße. The course is a 4,3 km circuit and runs on Marbachstraße, Hauptstraße, Stambachstraße, Römerstraße, Anton Weidinger Weg, Kirchbergstraße, Safenbachgasse, Hauptstraße, Unterdrumstraße, Gewerbestraße, roundabout, first exit right into State Road N° B54 to the turning point; on the State Road straight crossing the roundabout back to Marbachstraße. The most selective part of the circuit is a 350 m long ascending slope on Stambachstraße.
How many laps to go for the different divisions?
8 laps for divisions MH1.1, MH1.2, WH1, WH2, WH3
10 laps for divisions WH4, WHO
13 laps for divisions MH2 - MH4, MHO

Start Time :
The divisions will be started block by block at 15:30

Hill Climbing Race on Sunday, 27th June (The race doesn't count for EHC/UCI ranking)

Start Time and Course:
This race is an integrative sport event with handcyclists and able bodied cyclists riding together. The start is on Marbachstraße at 9:00. The 16 km long course with about 900 m altitude difference runs along the State Road N° 54 until the branch Staudach-Siebenbirken-Salleg. From this point marshals will show the direction to the top of the mountain.
Registration fee for all participants including finish-catering: 10 Euros
The return transport of handcyclists and their eqipment is provided with busses.
